Pirate Pair Run Well at NCAA Championships

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Whitworth University's Dusty Caseria and Nick Gallagher ran well in their first taste of competition at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

Caseria (So., Bellingham, Wash.) finished in 216th place with a time of 26:30 over the eight kilometer course. Gallagher (Fr., Bedford, Iowa) was right behind in 219th place, coming across the line in 26:31. There were 280 runners who completed the course.

Tyler Sigl of Wisconsin-Platteville won the race with a time of 24:24. New York University won the team title.
