SPOKANE, Wash. - Jordan Carter of Whitworth has been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America NCAA Division III All-West Region Team.

Carter, a sophomore from Woodinville, Wash. (Inglemoore), is one of only two Northwest Conference players on the 12-member all-region team. The west region in NCAA Division III golf includes the NWC, California, Texas and all the independents in between.

Carter won the NWC Fall Classic and NWC Spring Classic. He also tied for fifth at the NWC Tournament at the end of April. Carter's best-scoring tournament of the year was the NWC Fall Classic at Tokatee GC in Blue River Oregon where he won with a 7-under score of 137.

Carter led the Pirate men to their second consecutive NWC title this spring.
