The co-championship at the NWC Spring Classic sets up an All-The-Marbles showdown at the NWC Tournament between Whitworth and Linfield for the 2006-07 conference title. The two-time defending champion Pirates are only one point behind the Wildcats in the current standings, so whichever team finishes higher at the final tournament will win this year's conference title.
