Sabrowski, Seyedali Earn All-America Honors

SPOKANE, Wash. -- After leading Whitworth College to its best season in school history, Todd Sabrowski (Sr., D, Oregon City, Ore. - Oregon City) and Ali Seyedali (Jr., MF, Kirkland, Wash. - Lake Washington) have been named as Second Team Division III All-Americans by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). It is the second year in a row Sabrowski has been named to the team.

Sabrowski was named NWC Defensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row. He finished the year with 11 goals and six assists. He retires as the all-time leader at Whitworth in career assists (34) and second in total points (88). Over the course of his four seasons at Whitworth, the Pirates have won two Northwest Conference titles and have a record of 59-17-4.

Seyedali was been chosen to the NSCAA team for the first time, after earning First Team All-NWC honors. He led the NWC in assists (13) and game-winning goals (5). He has the second highest all-time assist total at Whitworth with 24.

The pair led Whitworth's run to a 2005 Northwest Conference title and an appearance in the NCAA Division III final four. The Pirates finished 19-2-1 overall and 13-0-1 in the NWC, setting new school records for total wins and winning percentage (.886). Whitworth finished third in the final NSCAA Division III poll of 2005.
