SAN ANTONIO - Due to heavy rain and lightning, Whitworth University's season-opening men's soccer match at Trinity University has been postponed until Saturday.

The Tigers and Pirates were scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m. (CDT) tonight, but storms have moved into the area, causing the Whitworth women's match with Texas Lutheran to end with 8:33 to play and the Pirates leading 6-0.

Whitworth and Trinity will now kick off at Noon on Saturday. Sunday's match with Southwestern University will go off as scheduled, weather permitting.
