Complete box score and play by play PORTLAND, Ore.- (From L&C SID Office) Lewis & Clark College earned its seventh shutout of the season with a 2-0 Northwest Conference women's soccer victory over visiting Whitworth College on a cold, wet afternoon at Griswold Stadium. Rebecca Conroy and Alison Hudson provided the offense for the Pioneers. Conroy scored an early goal for the Pioneers on a cross from Lisa Housman at the 8:08 mark in the game. Hudson added a second goal for the Pioneers, beating two defenders to find the net to score unassisted 3:07 into the second half. Pioneer goalkeeper Nora Germano earned the shutout victory with five saves in the game. Whitworth's Jenn Miller had five saves. With the win the Pioneers improved to 7-9-3 (5-8-2 NWC). The Pirates fell to 7-8-3 (6-7-2 NWC). Whitworth will conclude the 2005 regular season on Friday afternoon at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. The match will begin at 4:00 pm.
