Whitworth concludes the season with an overall record of 12-5-2 and a conference mark of 10-5-1. L&C ends the year 5-14-1 and 3-12-1.

Hagerott fed Lindsey Oakes for Whitworth's first goal in the 36th minute, and Oakes headed the ball past L&C keeper Karyne Sander. The second goal did not come until the 58th minute when Hagerott slotted a pass in to Greta Thibodeau, who connected on a short shot past Nora Germano, who replaced Sander at halftime.

Hagerott then got on the board herself in the 75th minute, taking a pass near the top of the box from Meghan Hudson and beating Germano just inside the left post.

The Pirates increased the advantage to 4-1 when Kelly Baker sent a long pass to the left side, where Penelope Crowe one-timed the ball across to Tori Crain, who headed the ball into the goal at the 84th minute.

L&C got on the board one minute later when Alison Hudson passed up to Sydney Babcock, whose shot from the far left corner of the box curved by Whitworth keeper Leah Motz.

Motz made five saves for Whitworth, while Sander had five saves for the Pioneers and Germano made two.

Whitworth recognized seniors Hudson, Katy Jones and Nicole Starkey during halftime of the match. The trio won 46 games during their four year careers.
