Whitworth improved to 4-1-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. Linfield fell to 2-4-1 and 0-2-1 in the conference.

The Pirates dominated, getting off 15 shots (seven on goal) to Linfield’s nine (two on goal).

Crowe scored 22:02 into the game on a 16-yarder that looped over the head of Linfield goalkeeper Allison Cartmill. A well-placed cross by Whitney Ramsey set it up.

Crowe scored again 6:13 into the second half on a grounder from 13 yards straight on after taking a through ball in space from Nicole Starkey.

Junior Greta Thibodeau of Alaska, Whitworth’s leading scorer, drilled her fourth goal of the season with 23:38 left to play into the upper right side of the net after an assist from Jael Hagerott.

Two of Linfield’s five shots in the first half came close. A header by Stephanie Caster hit the crossbar in the 23rd minute and skipped out of bounds and a shot by Kelli Gillespie in the 34th minute was just wide left.

Cartmill had four saves for the Wildcats, while Whitworth's Leah Motz made two stops.

Whitworth plays Sunday at Pacific in Forest Grove, Ore. The match will begin at Noon.
