SPOKANE, Wash. - Because of currently unplayable conditions on most of the fields and further inclement weather expected in the Salem, Oregon area, the 2007 Capitol Cup softball tournament has been cancelled.

Whitworth's softball team will now open the 2007 season with a Northwest Conference series March 3-4 at Pacific (Oregon).
