FOREST GROVE, Ore. - (From Blake Timm, Pacific SID) A combination of wet grounds and the continued forecast for rain in the Portland has forced Pacific to move it’s four-game softball series with Whitworth to the Tri-Cities.

The Boxers and Pirates will play their series at the Pasco Sporting Complex, located at 6520 Homerun Rd., in Pasco.

The weekend series was originally to be played at Hillsboro Stadium, Pacific’s temporary home field for the 2007 season. The constant rain and snow that has pounded the Portland area, coupled by a lack of a tarp on the Hillsboro Stadium surface, made the field unplayable.
