SPOKANE, Wash. -- Whitworth College's Loren Killgore and David Dolphay have qualified for, and will compete at the 2006 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships March 16-18 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. The meet will be hosted by Carleton College. The official list of qualifiers was released last Friday by the NCAA.
Killgore (Sr., Corbett, Ore. - Barlow HS) has qualified highly in the 400-yard Individual Medley. He is the fifth seed with an entry time of 4:03.18. He will also compete in the 200 I.M. (25th seed, 1:54.99) and 200 Backstroke (25th seed, 1:55.09). Killgore is a two-time NCAA Division III All-American during his career with the Pirates. Dolphay (So., Great Falls, Mont.) will also compete in three individual events. He is seeded 15th in the 1,650-yard Freestyle with an entry time of 16:04.84. He is also entered in the 500 Freestyle (24th, 4:38.22) and 200 Freestyle (27th, 1:42.87). The 500 Free and 200 I.M. are scheduled for Thursday, the 400 I.M. and 200 Free are Friday and the 1,650 Free and 200 Back will swim on Saturday. |
