Q: Why did you choose to come to Whitworth?
A: My older sister went here and raved about it. I wanted to study theology and heard Whitworth had a great department. I also wanted to swim in school, so Whitworth sounded perfect!
Q: What class at Whitworth have you enjoyed the most? Why?
A: Hmm, that's a tough one, but I'd have to say it's a draw between Jim Edward's "Gospel of Mark" class, and Adam Neder's "World Religions" class.
Q: What is your favorite activity during the off-season?
A: Running! Playing ultimate frisbee, watching movies, playing other sports that I don't get to play when I'm swimming.
Q: What was your high school athletic experience like?
A: I had a great time in high school sports; I swam for four years on the team and did track for the last two years of high school. Those last two years of sports were probably when I grew the most and improved the most in my athletics. Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?
A: Not really sure, but I know that I would want to take a LOT of time to think about where I would put it. I would want it to go towards something meaningful to me that would positively affect others.
Q: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
A: In swimming? Probably when someone pushes off of the wall in front of me right when I am about to flip turn. In life? When people are mean to others...I'm not a fan of that.
Q: What do you see yourself doing in 20 years?
A: Hopefully owning my own hair salon somewhere in Seattle!
