SEATTLE, Wash. - Whitworth freshman Cody Stelzer (The Dalles, Ore.) won the high jump for the second time in three indoor meets this season and improved his NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field qualifying mark in the process.

Stelzer high jumped 2.05 meters, which converts to 6'-9", in the meet. It is not only a personal best mark, but also improves his chances of competing at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.

Stelzer and a handful of his teammates were competing at the University of Washington Open. The men's 4x400 relay team finished second overall.
