ADA, Ohio - Whitworth University's Cody Stelzer finished second in the high jump today at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field nationals, hosted by Ohio Northern University. Stelzer (So., The Dalles, Ore.) cleared 6'-9.75" (2.08 meters) to finish second behind Josh Jones of Thiel (6'-11", 2.11 meters). Stelzer earned is second consecutive Indoor All-America honor, and third All-American honor overall, in the high jump after finishing sixth in his first indoor national championship meet last season. He then went on to finish third in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This spring's Div. III outdoor championships will be May 22-24 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. |
