TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Whitworth's Emmanuel Bofa (Jr., Puyallup, Wash.) finished second in his heat of the 800 meter run to advance to Saturday's final at the 2009 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, which are being hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Bofa ran his race in a time of 1:53.83, just behind Brian Sames of St. Thomas (Minn.) who finished in 1:53.70. Both of those times were faster than any times in Friday's first heat. The finals of the 800 are scheduled for 3:35 p.m. (EDT). |
