MOSCOW, Idaho - Emmanuel Bofa and Jeff Kintner posted NCAA Division III provisional national qualifying marks on Friday night at the University of Idaho Vandal Invitational.

Competing against primarily NCAA Division I competition, Bofa won the men's 800 meters with a time of 1:53.58. Bofa was the NCAA DIII Outdoor champion in the 800 last season.

Kintner finished fifth in the shot put, but his mark of 15.61 meters (51'-2.5") is a provisional mark, his second of the indoor season. Last week Kintner provisionally qualified in the weight throw.

Allyssa Thompson had a strong meet, just missing a qualifing mark in the triple jump, but finishing third in 36'-4.75". She also cleared 5'-1" in the high jump.

Whitworth will have several more competitors on Saturday at the University of Idaho when the Vandals host the Runners' Soul Open.
