Click here for complete Box Score Spokane, Wash. -- Whitworth College dominated both sides of the net to roll to a 30-13, 30-23, 30-17 win over visiting Lewis & Clark College in a Northwest Conference volleyball match on Saturday afternoon at the Whitworth Fieldhouse. The Pirates (10-2 overall, 3-1 NWC) hit .270 for the match with 50 kills. The Pirates also totaled 8 team blocks (two solo, 12 assisted). L&C (2-8, 1-3) hit .053 with 23 kills and two team blocks. Whitworth's Brittney Bower led all players with 17 kills, a career high, while hitting .500. Natalie Danielson added seven kills while hitting .600 at the net. Sara Kettler topped the Pioneers with seven kills, while Audrey Dilling added five. Whitworth won the first game easily after racing to a 21-1 lead. The Pirates had a tougher time in game two. Corey Van Landingham's kill gave Lewis & Clark an 11-8 lead. But Whitworth responded with six consecutive points and never trailed again.
