PORTLAND, Ore. -- PORTLAND, Ore. -- Whitworth University dropped its third straight Northwest Conference volleyball match on Friday night, losing 25-14, 25-15, 25-21 at Lewis & Clark College.

The Pirates (4-10 overall, 0-3 NWC) struggled both offensively and defensively on Friday, hitting only .067 as a team in the match and finishing with only two blocks in the match.

Kaimi Rocha (So., OH, Pukalani, Hawaii) led all players with 11 kills, while Ka'ipo Rocha (So., MB, Pukalani, Hawaii) added seven kills. Jordon Hoffnagle (So., DS/Lib, Spokane, Wash.) had a match-high 15 digs.

The Pioneers (6-5, 2-1) hit a blistering .303 as a team. Jessamy Holland led a balanced L&C attack with 10 kills.

Whitworth continues on its weekend trip to Oregon with a match at George Fox University on Saturday. The match will begin at 5:00 p.m.
