Description:
Jim Hunt will present "Restless Fires: Young John Muir's Thousand-Mile Walk to the Gulf in 1867-68." Hunt, a professor emeritus of history at Whitworth and a Muir scholar for many years, has been awarded grants through funding for Improvement in Secondary Education to study Spanish abroad in Spain and Mexico; he is also the cofounder and board president of the Krista Foundation for Global Citizenship.
