Description:
Lewis V. Baldwin will present "The Spirituality of Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Civil Rights Movement: An Enduring Legacy." Baldwin, a professor of religious studies at Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tenn., is the author of several books, including "'Invisible' Strands in African Methodism: A History of the African Union Methodist Protestant and Union American Methodist Episcopal Churches, 1805-1980" (1983), an American Theological Library Association Award winner.
