Academy of Preaching |
The Weyerhaeuser Center for Christian Faith & Learning,
in collaboration with the Presbytery of the Inland Northwest, recently
received a grant from the Presbyterian Church (USA) to begin a new academy
of preaching at Whitworth University.
The purpose of the academy is to provide educational programs
and resources designed to help pastors preach and teach God's Word
with compassion and conviction in today's world. The academy plans to
accomplish this objective by offering initiatives throughout
the year, including a lectionary study, a preaching clinic, a certificate
in expository preaching and teaching, and a summer preaching conference.
