Program Objectives

Good preaching is at the heart of effective ministry. The preaching clinic provides an opportunity for pastors to come together with peers for the purpose of sharpening preaching skills in a safe and supportive environment. Program Topics

  • Understanding and developing the God-given gift of creativity
  • Enhancing sermon delivery
  • Interpreting biblical texts
  • Sermon introductions and conclusions
  • The use of language in preaching
  • Understanding and using stories in preaching
  • Sermon structure
