Whitworth students, faculty and staff partner with Spokane organizations Sept. 25 for Community Building Day
Whitworth students, faculty and staff will partner with local organizations on Sept. 25, 2007, to work on clean-up and improvement projects in Spokane. Begun more than 100 years ago as a one-day campus cleanup project organized by Whitworth students, Community Building Day has since grown into a tradition in which more than 500 students, faculty and staff volunteer at nonprofit organizations in the community.
