Dale Soden has written extensively
about religion in the Pacific Northwest. His newest book, recently
published by the University of Washington Press, is entitled The
Reverend Mark Matthews: Activist in the Progressive Era. He is also the author of the centennial history of Whitworth University -- A
Venture of Mind and Spirit -- as well as numerous articles
about religious, cultural, and intellectual history.

Tim Dolan recently completed a doctorate in organizational leadership
at Gonzaga University. He is an ordained Presbyterian minister
and has served in the parish for 16 years.

Janet Hauck received her master of librarianship
degree from the University of Washington in 1986. Before coming to
Whitworth, she worked as a librarian at Converse College.

Michelle Pace
Michelle has been with Whitworth since 1994. In 2001, when the college learned it had been given a $2 million grant from the Lilly Foundation to explore issues of vocation and calling, she joined the staff of the Weyerhaeuser Center as its program coordinator. In May 2004, she earned her bachelor's degree in organizational management
from Whitworth's continuing-studies program.
