Biography: Karen Petersen Finch


Karen Petersen Finch
Karen Petersen Finch is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) since 1994. She holds a bachelor of arts in English literature from Pomona College (Calif.), an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Gonzaga University. As an undergraduate, she also had the opportunity to study the works of C.S. Lewis at Oxford University. Karen serves as an assistant professor of theology at Whitworth. Her main teaching interests are Reformed theology (Calvin), Roman Catholic theology (Lonergan), ecumenical dialogue, the doctrine of God, and the encounter between classical Christian teaching and postmodern notions of truth and value.
