The Weyerhaeuser Center for Christian Faith & Learning
The Weyerhaeuser Center for Christian Faith & Learning is dedicated to being a catalyst for change in the lives of faculty, students, clergy and laity by assisting them in a better understanding of how Christian faith and learning are integrated. The center aspires to be nationally recognized for innovative programs designed to promote Christian scholarship, effective faith-learning integration in and out of the classroom, greater spiritual depth in students, renewal of clergy and education for laity, and a deeper understanding of the dynamic between religion and culture in the Pacific Northwest.
The institute takes place at Whitworth's 200-acre campus, which features stately pines and broad green lawns. Overnight accommodations are available in the residence halls. We are pleased to offer accommodations in Boppell and Duvall halls this year. Boppell features air-conditioned units with two bedrooms and shared living room and bathroom (sleeps 4). Duvall features air-conditioned units with three, four and five bedrooms and shared living room and bathroom (sleeps 6-10). Linens, pillows and towels are provided for attendees staying on campus except for children two years and younger. Parents must provide cribs, bedding and towels. You may also choose the non-linen option. The non-linen option includes a blanket and pillow but no sheets or towels. If you require lodging before or after the scheduled conference dates, please contact us or consider off-campus accommodations near the university. These include the Ramada Inn Suites (509.468.4201) and Quality Inn Oakwood (509.467.4900).
