 Soaring the Speedway of the Mind and Heart
Everyone to the Starting Line!
Welcome to one of the most exhilarating races of your life! Before you load your stockcar into your trailer and head for the speedway, check your engine and tires one more time. You’re in for the shakedown of your life when your tires hit the track. There will be times when your engine breaks a connecting rod and penetrates the engine block, thereby ending your race day,
but there will also be wild celebrations in the pits, where new friends and
mentors await your return from that all-important final lap. Team Whitworth,
made up of faculty, staff and student leaders, is ready to meet you at the
starting line with the green flag. Every team member has raced with the best
of them, and our rigorously trained and exceptionally experienced mechanics
are ready to work on any car, in any condition. We are all ready for
your arrival, and we’ll do everything we can to make your experience at the
speedway of the mind and heart a life-changing event.
New Freshmen and New Transfers:
Orientation events and Residence Hall Check-in take place Saturday, Aug. 30, at
10 a.m., in the residence halls
Returning Students:
Orientation events and Residence Hall Check-in take place Monday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. in the residence halls.
