Favorite thing about Whitworth: The friendly and welcoming community Favorite professor: Kirk Westre – has great experience, knowledge, and humor to go along with his teaching. Favorite thing about Spokane: I've lived in Spokane all my life and have learned you always get a little bit of everything. You get all 4 season; the city or the country; great events like Hoopfest and Bloomsday and has a low crime rate:) Why I chose to attend Whitworth: I was given the opportunity to play two collegiate sports and a highly known academic and beautiful college. I knew I always wanted to attend a small Christian school and I loved the idea of having small class sizes to provide me a greater opportunity to learn and grow in relationships and my faith. Activities/clubs/events that students shouldn't miss: Freshmen should be a part of Traditiation. It gives you a great opportunity to meet your classmates around you, build relationships, have fun and be yourself. How Whitworth is preparing me for graduate school or a career: Whitworth is giving me a well-rounded education, resources and faith to not only get into graduate school but help me strive to reach my personal best that I can carry with me into my career and the rest of my life. |
