Whitworth activities/clubs: Relay For Life and En Christo Favorite book: A Ring of Endless Light, by Madeline L'Engle Favorite food: Thai food Favorite guilty pleasure: Reading mysteries Favorite off-campus study program experience: Field Marine Ecology on San Juan Island is great class! It allows hands-on experience working with marine life in a beautiful location and the extra time with classmates is valuable. Favorite place or hangout on campus: The coffee shop is a great place to meet and catch up with friends. Favorite thing about Spokane: Manito Park; it's a beautiful, relaxing place to take a walk or study. Research/special projects I'm involved in: During a Jan Term study program on San Juan Island, I researched the attachment strength of limpet species. It was a great learning experience. Advice for incoming students: Enjoy delving into your major, but take advantage of the many other classes offered with amazing professors! What I plan to do after graduation: After Whitworth, I plan to study marine ecology in graduate school.
