Favorite thing about Whitworth: Everyone here is really nice and the academic environment here is excellent. The professors at Whitworth are also very experienced and helpful.
Favorite professor: Professor Gregg Brekke. He was the first professor I had at Whitworth. He is really knowledgeable and he guided me through my freshman year. I think it is a privilege for international students to have him as their English professor. I got to learn a lot of things about American culture.
Best class: Introduction to Sociology. I really enjoyed this class with Dr. Raja Tanas and the class itself is also very interesting. Through this class, I learned about a lot of interesting phenomena around the world and got a better understanding of the reasons behind people's actions.
My best Whitworth moment or experience: "Traditiation" activities are awesome and one should not miss them.
Activities/clubs/events that students shouldn't miss: International Club. I made a lot of friends from all over the world and I really enjoy the diversity. I learn lots of interesting facts about other countries and get to know different opinions from people who are different from me.
How Whitworth is preparing me for graduate school or a career: Whitworth is a school that focuses on students' academic life. The courses are very challenging as well as interesting. Whitworth also has really good programs, especially for engineering students. I think if I can get through and fully understand all the courses I take at Whitworth, I will be able to do very well in graduate school and my career as well.
