Seattle Children's Theatre Drama School
Be one of 15 interns to assist in teaching classes of creative drama, acting, and special interest. Supervise the students during breaks and the "pick-up/drop-off" points in order to get the students to class. Some interns may rotate in the Theatre Arts Splash teaching art, movement, and creative drama to ages 4-9.



Jr. High Intern
Provide leadership and support in Junior High ministries. Lead the spiritual development of the Junior High students.



Summer Construction Positions
Work on construction projects serving the Greater Spokane Community, such as low income housing, food banks, day care centers, and community centers



Media Specialist
Digital still and video photography, daily website updates, weekly production of a "keepsake" video, and an end of season promotional video.



Marketing Internship
As an intern you will assist the Area Manager and Skyhawks staff with daily tasks such as: helping with administrative duties, data entry, research and public relations. You will also be assigned to special projects to assist in development, production, implementation and review as well as promotional ideas and implementations.

Summer Interns (2)
Our summer internship program seeks to accomplish several purposes:
1. Provide a learning environment that benefits the Kingdom of God through training future leaders and continuing Jesus Christ’s earthly mission.
2. Provide a learning experience that benefits the intern through exposure to a vital, growing church, its staff, elders, deacons and congregation members.
3. Provide a focused proving ground for testing gifts and applying them in the life of the church.
4. Provide a rich environment for fulfilling educational requirements.

Description of Duties/Responsibilities – What you’ll be asked to do!
The intern will work primarily in the area of Student Ministry, under the direct supervision of the Associate Pastor of Christian Education & Discipleship. As such the intern will be involved in all aspects of mission and ministry to students including but not limited to the following duties:
1. Direct involvement in the weekly planning, promotion, and leadership of middle school and high school youth group.
2. Direct involvement in the planning, promotion, and leadership of special events for both middle school and high school.
3. Participation in the Summer Mission Trip to New York City.
4. Weekly planning and teaching in the Sunday morning program
5. Occasional participation and leadership in Sunday morning worship.
6. Participation in weekly meeting of church staff.
7. Weekly informal contact with middle school and high school students.
8. Weekly involvement in spiritual disciplines (prayer, scripture study, worship, etc.)
9. Weekly gathering with Associate Pastor for study, reflection, evaluation, and training. This time will include directed study of several texts related to ministry with students.
10. At the end of the internship prepare a summary evaluation of the intern experience including any recommendations for change and improvement of the experience.

New Hope’s Responsibilities – What you can expect from us!
1. Supervision: The summer intern will be under the direct supervision of the Associate Pastor of Christian Education & Discipleship – Erik Holm. Supervision will consist of weekly meetings for planning, support, evaluation and spiritual growth.
2. Training: New Hope will seek to provide the intern with a variety of experiences that will enable the exploration of different skills and gifts related to ministry in a congregational setting. Interns are not expected to come in and run the show, but rather they will work alongside those already in ministry.
3. Compensation: New Hope will provide a modest stipend as well as housing for the intern with a family in our congregation. Further details regarding compensation can be found under Terms of Service & Compensation.





Marketing/PR/Communication Specialist
Assist with general marketing activities to include marketing design, event coordination and promotion, market research,
general administrative duties to include management of registration process and data base management

Summer Adventure Guides and Staff
OA Interns get to assist with/experience a wide range of activities including whitewater rafting, whitewater kayaking, sea kayaking, retail sales, biking, hiking, camping, teaching, and more. Our interns are valuable staff who offer support, ideas, and diversity for our trips, classes, youth camps, and trainings. Camp Counselor - Day Camp

Two sessions provide opportunities for children with special needs. Campers are grouped by grade level and assigned to a shelter. Ages of camper groups vary each session. Preschool program structure varies slightly.

The summer is divided into 11 one-week sessions. Campers enjoy progression-based programming in outdoor skills, swimming, and specialized activities. Staff Team Lead - Day Camp

Pool Director
Supervise swimming programs, staff, and facility maintenance. Communicate with parents, strictly enforce health & safety rules, and implement non-swim programs during inclement weather.

Senior High Ministries Intern
General Responsibilities:
- To provide leadership and support in Senior High Ministries
- To lead in the spiritual development of senior high students

The FPC Sr High Student Ministries Program involves students from our church and reaches out to students from the community. The core of the ministry are the D-Groups. Currently 15 D-Groups involve about 150 students. We are also committed to creating an authentic community, opportunities for deep discipleship, and mission work locally and globally.

The Sr High Intern partners with the Director of Student ministries, the adult leadership team, and the student leadership team, to:
- embrace students with Christ's Good News,
- support a community where that embrace can be shared
- embrace the world with Christ's love, grace, and Good News

Specific responsibilities include:
- Attend and participate in all programmed events
- Help plan, implement and lead the weekly Praxis gathering
- Help plan, implement and lead the Sunday Morning program
- Lead a discipleship group
- Support the discipleship program
- Help lead a once a month leader's support, prayer, and planning meeting
- Spend time with students doing contact work and discipleship
- Help plan and implement retreats
- Help plan and implement 2 mission trips each year
- Support the Student Leadership Team
- Help plan and implement local mission and service involvement
- Work with parent support teams when needed
- Take on administrative responsibilities as needed
- Help plan, implement and lead freshmen assimilation

Accountability is directly to the Director of Student Ministries. The Senior High staff will also work closely with the Junior High staff and other areas of ministry in the church, especially the Sunday evening worship service.

This is a full time position which is usually filled with recent college graduates.



Summer Field Interns
Responsibilities: increasing public awareness about George Fearing, volunteer recruitment/management, being part of an advance team for public events, any and all other duties assoc. with the campaign. College credit will be avail for all interns. Interns showing flexibility, capability, willingness to give 100% may also be offered a stipend.




Youth Mission and Ministry Intern
It is the primary purpose of the internship to be a learning opportunity through relational ministry to junior or senior high students. In particular, the intern ministry seeks to provide the chance for interns to:
• Gain practical ministry training
• Work in an atmosphere of personal and professional guidance and support
• Test their gifts and call to vocational ministry
• Develop spiritually and theologically
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Present the gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and to encourage them in their growth through the study of scripture, prayer, fellowship and service.
-Assist the Youth Mission and Ministry staff in planning and executing ministry programs. These include Sunday morning and evening programs, Wednesday evening programs, Bible studies, small groups, special events, retreats, and mission projects. Share in the teaching responsibilities of Sundays and Wednesdays.
-Maintain personal, spiritual and professional growth.
-Assist in the coordination of volunteer sponsors and to encourage them in their ministry with students.
-Initiate contact with students in order to build relationships wherein the gospel can be communicated through words and actions. Relational time with students may include such activities as lunch at their school, attending extra-curricular activities, hiking, going out for ice cream, and overnights with small groups.
-Keep students and parents informed in regard to upcoming events.




Student Ministries Summer Intern
The purpose of this position is to develop emerging leaders for kingdom impact in Walnut Creek today while preparing them for ministry leadership in the future. Interns complete a 10 week training position during the summer season in either Middle School or High School MInistry departments. Interns receive training and hands-on experience in teaching, administration ,relational work with students, and event planning.




Specialty Counselor/Ropes Course Instructor
Camp Ramapo is a residential summer camp that serves children with emotional, behavioral, and learning problems, and provides a safe, predictable, and highly structured enviornment. Ramapo is looking for multiple positions this upcoming summer. Positions include: ropes course team member and specialty counselors (which include working in outdoor/woods, athletics, waterfront, crafts, performance arts, reading center, science discovery center, and garden and animal care). Counselors would serve children 4 to 16 years old, with a wide range of emotional and learning problems. The internship would provide outstanding professional training and field work experience, as well as offering a on-site college course (6 semester hours) that can be credited in many different disciplines. The internship presents a "challenging, rewarding, and life-changeing experience" from which counselors have gon on to distinguished careers in business, communications, education, human services, medicine and law.



Summer Camp Intern
We are looking for two college student interns to help design and run summer camps for low-income children and teens. The camp program will:
•Run from 1:00-5:00pm daily, June 22nd to August 21st
•Take place at an affordable housing property in Issaquah
•Host children from 5-17 years old
•Involve a variety of different weekly themes and activities, including field trips




Sport Operations Internship
This internship is based on allowing someone to gain a wide variety of experiences while working with, in, and around, a professional sports franchise. The intern will gain experience in a variety of fields including marketing, promotions, tickets, sales, merchandise, game day operations, on-field events, media relations, and staff supervision.

The intern will spend 20-30 hours a week in the office, and attend all 24 home games. Game day hours will vary with the schedule. Interns are not paid for office hours, but are paid hourly for time spent at home games.

This is a great experience for someone looking to start in sports. Unlike other internships that can focus on a specific area, this internship allows for the individual to experience all aspects of a working in sport to help them better discover what they want to do.



Internship at Rockwood Sports Performance Program
Whitworth exercise science, physiology, and health care related students are invited to Intern at the Rockwood Sports Performance Program. At the end of the high school fall sports season, Rockwood is looking to increase staffing to accommodate the increase in athletes coming in. Please contact Joe Gaines for more information.
