Seattle Children's Theatre Drama School
Be one of 15 interns to assist in teaching classes of creative drama, acting, and special interest. Supervise the students during breaks and the "pick-up/drop-off" points in order to get the students to class. Some interns may rotate in the Theatre Arts Splash teaching art, movement, and creative drama to ages 4-9.



Jr. High Intern
Provide leadership and support in Junior High ministries. Lead the spiritual development of the Junior High students.



Summer Construction Positions
Work on construction projects serving the Greater Spokane Community, such as low income housing, food banks, day care centers, and community centers



Media Specialist
Digital still and video photography, daily website updates, weekly production of a "keepsake" video, and an end of season promotional video.



Marketing Internship
As an intern you will assist the Area Manager and Skyhawks staff with daily tasks such as: helping with administrative duties, data entry, research and public relations. You will also be assigned to special projects to assist in development, production, implementation and review as well as promotional ideas and implementations.



Outreach Coordinator




Business Management

Aquatic Aerobic Instructor
This organization is seeking students to instruct aquatic aerobic classes. There are multiple instructional opportunities including morning and/or evenings.



Playground Monitor
Interested in a student to organize and engage in recess activities, who will model and teach teamwork, fair play and healthy competition.



NCAA Intern
The NCAA offers one-year internships at the national office in Indianapolis, providing on-the-job learning experiences for students intersted in persuing a career in the administration of intercollegiate athletics. The NCAA offers internships in the following departments: administrative services, branding and communications, championships, corporate and broadcast alliances, Division I men's and women's basketball, diversity and inclusion, education services, enforcement services, governance, membership services/student-athlete reinstatement and the NCAA Eligibility Center. Applicants are able to request their top three areas of interest that they prefer to work in. These are paid, 12 month positions



Phys Ed instructor
This family is looking for an Athletic Training or Health, Fitness, and Phys Ed major to provide the Physical Education component of the home school curricula for their 12 year old son. Assistant coach - Boy's soccer
Assitant coach for boy's soccer needed at Saint George's School. There is a head coach and an assistant coach, but another assitant coach is needed due to an extra large turnout. Saint George's is a great place to coach and the team is going to be awesome this year! For more information about the school, check out the web site at www.sgs.org. Also, this is a paid position.



Sales position for fitness/wellness products
This is a part time position for someone interesting in selling fitness/wellness products. Better Bed and Bath will provide training. Student will gain great experience working with people.



Football coach
Valley Christian needs at least 2 more coaches for their football team.



Fitness Internship
Interested student will teach fitness to the cliental at the Spokane Athletic Club.



Membership Consultant
Membership Consultant needed for nights and weekends to sell memberships to potential customers interested in getting fit.



Summer Interns (2)
Our summer internship program seeks to accomplish several purposes:
1. Provide a learning environment that benefits the Kingdom of God through training future leaders and continuing Jesus Christ’s earthly mission.
2. Provide a learning experience that benefits the intern through exposure to a vital, growing church, its staff, elders, deacons and congregation members.
3. Provide a focused proving ground for testing gifts and applying them in the life of the church.
4. Provide a rich environment for fulfilling educational requirements.

Description of Duties/Responsibilities – What you’ll be asked to do!
The intern will work primarily in the area of Student Ministry, under the direct supervision of the Associate Pastor of Christian Education & Discipleship. As such the intern will be involved in all aspects of mission and ministry to students including but not limited to the following duties:
1. Direct involvement in the weekly planning, promotion, and leadership of middle school and high school youth group.
2. Direct involvement in the planning, promotion, and leadership of special events for both middle school and high school.
3. Participation in the Summer Mission Trip to New York City.
4. Weekly planning and teaching in the Sunday morning program
5. Occasional participation and leadership in Sunday morning worship.
6. Participation in weekly meeting of church staff.
7. Weekly informal contact with middle school and high school students.
8. Weekly involvement in spiritual disciplines (prayer, scripture study, worship, etc.)
9. Weekly gathering with Associate Pastor for study, reflection, evaluation, and training. This time will include directed study of several texts related to ministry with students.
10. At the end of the internship prepare a summary evaluation of the intern experience including any recommendations for change and improvement of the experience.

New Hope’s Responsibilities – What you can expect from us!
1. Supervision: The summer intern will be under the direct supervision of the Associate Pastor of Christian Education & Discipleship – Erik Holm. Supervision will consist of weekly meetings for planning, support, evaluation and spiritual growth.
2. Training: New Hope will seek to provide the intern with a variety of experiences that will enable the exploration of different skills and gifts related to ministry in a congregational setting. Interns are not expected to come in and run the show, but rather they will work alongside those already in ministry.
3. Compensation: New Hope will provide a modest stipend as well as housing for the intern with a family in our congregation. Further details regarding compensation can be found under Terms of Service & Compensation.





Marketing/PR/Communication Specialist
Assist with general marketing activities to include marketing design, event coordination and promotion, market research,
general administrative duties to include management of registration process and data base management

Summer Adventure Guides and Staff
OA Interns get to assist with/experience a wide range of activities including whitewater rafting, whitewater kayaking, sea kayaking, retail sales, biking, hiking, camping, teaching, and more. Our interns are valuable staff who offer support, ideas, and diversity for our trips, classes, youth camps, and trainings. Interns must be adventurous, energetic, motivated, positive and willing to work and play hard. Campers

Camp is for boys and girls, grades K - 9 and preschoolers, Camp capacity is 200 youth per week. Campers attend one or more sessions and some attend all summer. Two sessions provide opportunities for children with special needs. Campers are grouped by grade level and assigned to a shelter. Ages of camper groups vary each session. Preschool program structure varies slightly.

Program

The summer is divided into 11 one-week sessions. Campers enjoy progression-based programming in outdoor skills, swimming, and specialized activities. Traditional activities include crafts, hiking, creative drama, fishing, games, singing, archery, magic, cooking, team building, challenge course, etc. Out of camp adventures include canoeing, overnights, horseback riding and excursions. Session themes enhance the program.

Staff Team Lead - Day Camp
Supervise up to 5 counselors. Coach and mentor staff to form positive connections with campers. Provide program support in a specialty area (Archery/Challenge Course, Outdoor Skills, Arts & Crafts).

Supervise swimming programs, staff, and facility maintenance. Communicate with parents, strictly enforce health & safety rules, and implement non-swim programs during inclement weather.
