Alpha Beta Alpha Beta was the Home Economics club on campus where home economics students were given the opportunity for further research and knowledge. Workshops and field trips were among some of the activities sponsored by the club. The highlight of Alpha Beta’s social calendar was the annual formal spring banquet. At that time senior members who were going into the National Home Economics Association were installed. Other social events sponsored by the club included activities such as all-school roller skating parties, and after-game tolos.
