The Dramatic Club Events
According to the June 6, 1930 edition of the Whitworthian, the main achievements of the Dramatic Club were putting on skits for the annual Colonial Party, Homecoming, and Class Day. Above is a picture from the 1930 Colonial Party. At this event the Dramatic Club reenacted the Boston Tea Party. For Homecoming the club put on a mock football game presented in the Chapel, where the girls took on the roles of the boys. After initial success, interest in the club died down, and the club was disbanded after a few years, although plays were still performed.
