A Vision of Purpose
The Chapel was intended to be a central location for student worship and ministries on campus. Before the construction of the Chapel, Whitworth held weekly worship services at various locations such as Graves Gym, McMillan Hall, or even outdoors. The founders envisioned the Chapel as a place of "renewal, meditation, encouragement and strength."
