A Great Memory
John F. Kennedy’s visit to Whitworth University was a huge event on February 11th, 1960, and one can only imagine how much huger it felt when he became president. Though there may be people here at Whitworth now that don’t know he ever came and gave a speech to the students of nearly fifty years ago, for those that were there and can still remember, it will always be an amazing memory of one of the most famous 20th century presidents.
