Black Student Union Presents Gospel Explosion Concert at Whitworth College

The Black Student Union at Whitworth College will host its third annual Gospel Explosion concert featuring artist Aaron Davis, a minister from Morning Star Baptist Church who recently released his first CD.

Along with Davis, the Gospel Explosion will feature performances by local church choirs including Angels with Attitude, the Fairchild Air Force Base choir, the Bethel AME choir, and choirs from Holy Temple, Calvary Baptist Church, Lighthouse Tabernacle and Solid Rock Christian Center. In the previous two years approximately 300-400 people attended this event, and attendance is expected to increase at this year's performance.

The Gospel Explosion will be held Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in Seeley Mudd Chapel at Whitworth College. The concert is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken to support the Black Student Union. For more information, please call (509) 777-4568.
