November 14, 2000 Christmas Festival Concert to Feature Whitworth Choir The 2000 Whitworth College Christmas Festival Concert, "Wondrous Night," will feature the award-winning Whitworth Choir as well as performances by the Whitworth Chamber Singers, Women's Choir, brass quintet and harp ensemble. The concert will include congregational hymns, scripture and liturgical readings, and a repertoire of music spanning the Baroque period to the twentieth century. Led by Director of Choral Activities Bryan Priddy, the Whitworth Choir is considered one of the premiere collegiate choirs in the Northwest, and has performed with the Spokane Symphony and Chorale. The choir is frequently selected to perform at conventions for the American Choral Directors Association, the Washington Music Educators Association, and the Music Educators National Conference. The Christmas Festival Concert will be performed in four cities. Following is event information for each location.
