Touring Theatre Production Explores Body-Image Issues
Whitworth College's touring production of Mirror,
Mirror: The Body Image Show will be staged in January at locations
throughout Washington state and the greater Portland area.
Through stories, sketches and statistics, Mirror,
Mirror explores how factors such as peer influence, family and
the media shape our perceptions of our bodies. It is an original production
that was developed by Whitworth students based on research, interviews,
and personal experiences. The 45-minute performance is appropriate for
ages ten and older and will be followed by a discussion session.
