April 7, 2003 Whitworth Dean to Participate in Community Panel on 'America's Role in the World' The war in Iraq and other emerging foreign policy issues are raising questions about the United States' role in promoting peace and security, democracy, international trade, environmental health, and its own image in the world.A panel of experts, including Kyle Usrey, dean of Whitworth's School of Global Commerce and Management, will lead a community discussion in search of answers to these questions, beginning at 7 p.m., Wednesday, in the grand ballroom of the Doubletree Hotel City Center (322 North Spokane Falls Court). The event, sponsored by the Spokane World Affairs Council, The Pacific Northwest Inlander and KXLY, costs $5 for general admission at the door and $2 for students and K-12 teachers.
