Whitworth Presents 2003 Christmas Festival Concert, "God's Grace Is Forever"

The 2003 Whitworth College Christmas Festival Concert, "God's Grace Is Forever," will feature the Whitworth Choir, Chamber Singers, and the college's women's chorus, Trouvères, with the assistance of wind, brass and percussion ensembles. The concert program will feature readings and music in celebration of Advent and Christmas, including works composed by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Mathias, Brotons, Öhrwall, and Whitworth Director of Choral Activities Marc A. Hafso.

The Whitworth Christmas Festival Concert will take place in both Seattle and Spokane. Following is concert information for each location:

Seattle
When:	Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. (prelude at 7:20 p.m.) Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3 p.m. (prelude at 2:50 p.m.)
Where:	First Presbyterian Church, 1013 8th Ave., Seattle
Tickets:	$12 general admission. Tickets for the Seattle concerts can be purchased by calling 1-800-532-4668.

Spokane
When:	Friday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. (prelude at 7:50 p.m.) Saturday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. (prelude at 2:50 p.m.) Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. (prelude at 6:50 p.m.)
Where:	First Presbyterian Church, 318 S. Cedar St., Spokane
Tickets:	$12 general admission. Tickets for the Spokane concerts can be purchased at the Whitworth College Music Office or by calling 467-9397, or by contacting TicketsWest at 325-SEAT or www.ticketswest.com.

Tickets may also be available to purchase at the door prior to the scheduled concert in each city. The Christmas Festival Concert is recommended for children ages six and older.
