Theology Professor Emeritus to Present Robert Webber, Ph.D., professor of theology emeritus at Wheaton College, will present a lecture, "Worship: Where Has All the Justice Gone?" in the Robinson Teaching Theatre in Weyerhaeuser Hall at Whitworth College on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. Webber will also preach during Midweek Worship, in Whitworth's Seeley Mudd Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. Both events are free and open to the public. For more information, please call (509) 777-3214. Webber is the William R. and Geraldyn B. Myers Professor of Ministry at Northern Seminary, in Lombard, Ill. He also serves as president of the Institute for Worship Studies in addition to being professor of theology emeritus at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. Webber has lectured on worship to nearly every Protestant denomination and has authored or edited more than 40 books on worship, including the eight-volume work The Complete Library of Christian Worship. His recent books include Ancient-Future Faith (Baker, 1999), Journey to Jesus (Abington, 2001), The Younger Evangelical (Baker, 2002) and Ancient-Future Evangelism (Baker, 2003). Located in Spokane, Wash., Whitworth is a private, liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA).
