Whitworth Sacred-Dance Club to Present Winter Recital Dec. 11

Jubilation, Whitworth's student-led dance club that explores the use of dance in worship, will present its winter recital "Do You Hear What I Hear?" on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. in Cowles Auditorium at Whitworth College.

Admission is $2. Tickets are available for purchase by e-mailing whitworthjubilation@hotmail.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door just prior to the event. Cookies and hot chocolate will be provided after the performance.

The recital will include performances from the club's nine dance classes: modern, beginning tap, outreach, gospel hula, jazz, advanced tap, ballet, highland and hip hop, along with a dance performed by Jubilation's leadership team.

Located in Spokane, Wash., Whitworth is a private, liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The college enrolls 2,400 students in more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs.
