Great Decisions Series at Whitworth to Feature March 10 Lecture on Russia

The 48th annual Great Decisions Lecture Series at Whitworth College features five speakers who address current political, cultural and economic subjects of interest to the international community. The public is invited to attend the lectures free of charge.

The third lecture in the series will feature William T. Robinson, J.D., with the Seattle law firm of William T. Robinson PLLC. Robinson will present a lecture on Russia on Thursday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the William P. Robinson Teaching Theatre, Weyerhaeuser Hall at Whitworth College. Robinson has provided legal services to domestic and international clients for 28 years. A 1970 Whitworth graduate, Robinson has lived in Japan and Russia, and since 1990 has worked with more than 150 clients and projects in eight republics of the former Soviet Union and in many regions of Russia. He recently completed the legal and tax analysis for a proposed Russian regional development bank to finance infrastructure projects.

Located in Spokane, Wash., Whitworth is a private, liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The college enrolls 2,400 students in more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs.
