April 25, 2006 Printmaker to Give Lecture, Lead Book-Making Workshops at Whitworth Esme Guenther, a Whitworth alumna and visiting artist in printmaking at the college, will present a lecture on Tuesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the Koehler Gallery, located in the Fine Arts Building at Whitworth College. Admission is free. Guenther will also lead book-making workshops on Saturday, May 6, and Sunday, May 7, from 1-5 p.m., in the Fine Arts Building. After graduating from Whitworth in 2002, Guenther completed her M.F.A. in printmaking at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Guenther's upcoming Whitworth events are hosted by The Loop Press at Whitworth College; her workshops are funded in part through a National Endowment for the Arts Grant, which supports Whitworth's Visiting Artists in Printmaking Program.
