Wheaton College Professor, Ethicist to Present April 27 Lecture on the War in Iraq

Lindy Scott, Ph.D., will present a lecture, "The War in Iraq: A Christian Perspective from Latin America," on Thursday, April 27, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Eric Johnston Center Auditorium, Room 233, at Whitworth College. Admission is free. For more information, please call (509) 777-4484.

Scott is associate professor of Spanish and Latin American studies at Wheaton College, in Wheaton, Ill., where he also serves as director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics. Scott holds a doctor of philosophy degree from Northwestern University. In his dissertation and in other books and journal articles he has written extensively about politics, economics, education, immigration, social ethics, and U.S. foreign policy.
