Whitworth Art Majors to Display Works in Exhibit The Whitworth senior art exhibit, "Funneling it Down," will be on display April 25-May 13 in the Koehler Gallery and Gallery II, located in the Fine Arts Building at Whitworth College. The Koehler Gallery and Gallery II hours are Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is free. An opening reception will be held Tuesday, April 25, from 5-7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building lobby. A closing reception will be held May 13 at 11 a.m. For more information, please call (509) 777-3258. Students whose work will be featured in the exhibit are Beth Krause, Catherine Doughty Students' work will include a collection of media-themed pieces that incorporate graphic design, web design, and promotional materials. Some students will also exhibit ceramics and drawings. Each participant has been given the choice to create a themed piece based on the title of the exhibition. The piece may be based on the artist's reflection on what it means to "funnel it down," and may incorporate a funnel. Located in Spokane, Wash., Whitworth is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The college enrolls 2,400 students in more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs.
