Whitworth Students Recognized for Yearbook Excellence
Whitworth students who are staff members of the college's yearbook Natsihi have received an Award of Excellence from Taylor Publishing for their accomplishments in yearbook design and coverage. The Natsihi is featured in the 2007 Yearbook Yearbook. Judges selected the Natsihi as being among the best in the nation. The Natsihi advisor is Tad Wisenor, a 1989 alumnus who is director of annual giving, alumni, parent and church relations at Whitworth.
"The judges come from different parts of the nation and represent varied school sizes," says Yearbook Yearbook Editor Mary Scoggins. "Their job is not an easy one. The competition gets tougher each year because staffs are doing an excellent job of creating great student-oriented yearbooks. Taylor Publishing includes the best of the best in Yearbook Yearbook."
Yearbooks published by Taylor for the 2006 school year were evaluated in one or more of the following areas: cover design, theme development and layout design. Taylor Publishing recognizes only the top five percent of the yearbook staffs for outstanding achievement.
Taylor Publishing is a major publisher of yearbooks nationwide and is the industry's leader in digital innovation. Taylor provides training, technical support and printing services to elementary school, middle school, high school and college yearbook staffs.
