Whitworth's fall theatre production will feature Bertolt Brecht's interpretation of the classical Greek play, "Antigone." In a time of war, questions about patriotism and courage are pushed to the front of our minds. This classical play, in a modern translation, examines the clash between loyalty to one's country and loyalty to one's beliefs. The production is directed by Instructor of Theatre Brooke Kiener, '99.
Located in Spokane, Wash., Whitworth is a private, liberal arts university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The university, which has an enrollment of 2,600 students, offers 53 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
