United States Air Force Band Quintet to Perform May 21 at Whitworth

The Golden West Winds, the resident woodwind quintet of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, will perform in concert on Wednesday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Music
Building Recital Hall at Whitworth University. Admission is free. For more information, please call (509) 777-3280. The versatile Golden West Winds performs a varied assortment of chamber music, ranging from the works of baroque masters to the ragtime works of Scott Joplin. The Golden West Winds is featured on the CDs Bayside Bravura and Wood 'n Brass.

Located in Spokane, Wash., Whitworth is a private, liberal arts university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The university, which has an enrollment of 2,600 students, offers 53 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
